NATIONAL UNIVERSITY MEDICAL INSTITUTES

The National University Medical Institutes (NUMI) is incepted in September 1994 and funded wholly by the National Medical Research Council. Currently, the Director of NUMI is Emeritus Professor Chan Soh Ha.

NUMI focuses its efforts on

(i) the development of centralized research facilities and services for the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in the National University of Singapore, and

(ii) developing research programmes in cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
